This list might very well be one of the harder ones to do. After all, there’s just so many to choose from — only picking five was very difficult.

Throughout 2013, Republicans continued their march toward full-blown insanity. They reached such high levels of ridiculousness that I often found myself having to put disclaimers on quite a few of my articles, declaring that the following content was not satire.

That being said, here are five of my personal favorite moments from 2013 where Republicans made complete fools of themselves.

Yes — only five. I’m trying to limit the length for the sake of time and also to keep this article from being several pages long. Because if we’re being honest, Republicans had countless embarrassing moments this past year.
